Snow Machine is returning to New Zealand for its second winter appearance. The four-day music festival takes place in Queenstown between September 3 and September 8, with day sessions at Coronet Peak and Remarkables. The event is already boasting to be 90% sold out, so grab your tickets fast if you want to get amongst the thrills and fun.
This is a special event as it brings electronic musicians from all around the globe to the heart of New Zealand’s ski community. The general admission ticket allows you access to all the chairlifts and stages across the mountain. This year, some of the performing artists featured are Atomic Blonde, Lee Matthews, and Ladyhawke. There is transport to and from the mountains to town to allow a safe passage for the attendees, with afterparties spread out around the bars in Queenstown,
September is a perfect time of year for skiing in New Zealand, as spring has arrived and the snow is soft all over. Both Remarkables and Coronet Peak offer some of New Zealand’s finest skiing with a combined 665 hectares (1643 acres) of lift-accessed terrain. Coronet Peak is also New Zealand’s oldest ski resort, which opened in 1947.
From New Zealand Snow Machine is moving to Japan during the northern hemisphere winter, with events in both Hakuba and Niseko in March 2025. Tickets for all their events can be found on the Snow Machine website.
