Report from November 24th, 2018
Snowbird ski resort in Utah opened for the season today after 21″ in the past 48 hours.
People were fired up.
We were fired up.
The coverage was damn good.
We stayed on piste today and the piste was impressively long and fun off Gadzoom.
The snow came down hard all day and the wind absolutely howled.
The temperature at the bottom was 22ยบF…
It was a cold, windy one but that kept the snow great.
The edges of the runs were windblown, ski-sprayed, soft goodness.
Conditions were excellent for November.
There are rumors of the more terrain opening at Snowbird tomorrow, but we can’t confirm that.
It’s supposed to be sunny tomorrow…
We got burritos at Lone Star Taqueria apres ski – crazyย good.
