Snowbird, UT, Sets Opening Day For November 30

Snowbird, Utah, will open for the 2023-24 season for skiers and snowboarders on November 30, 2023. After receiving a fresh 13 inches of snow and nearly an additional foot of snow in the forecast, Snowbird revealed its opening date through an Instagram announcement:ย 

โ€œ13โ€ of snow so far and itโ€™s not slowing down 🙌

Skiing and riding are just 1️⃣1️⃣ days awayโ€”our teams are prepping the mountain as we count down to Opening Day on November 30, conditions permitting.โ€

Following this message, the resort accumulated an additional 9 inches of snow, bringing the storm total to 22 inches. Moreover, forecasters are calling for around 11 inches of new snow on Thursday and Friday, which will further help build the base, and allow the resort to open more terrain on Opening Day.
