I spent more time in Mammoth Lakes, CA this spring than I’ve spent anywhere besides Bariloche, Argentina in the past 10-years…
I nestled into Mammoth for all of May, June, and half of July.
While there I skied Mammoth Mountain 52-days and went ski mountaineering for our “Eastern Sierra Blackjack Project” for 22-days.
I even got in my D-Spin 720º at 45-years-old!
Mammoth had a few powder days in May, was rock solid in June, and even in July the skiing was still world-class every day.
I left on July 15 but Mammoth stayed open until August 6!
What an epic spring and summer season in Mammoth.
That was the best spring of my life…
Thanks, Mammoth!
