Report from 19 May, 2024
A recent overnight snowstorm has served a hearty helping of stoke to the snow-hopeful of New Zealandโs South Island.
In the Mackenzie District, several inches of hallowed white gold made its merry way to base elevation, with more significant accumulations piling up farther into the valleys.
The recent plop of powder is a bit an early as opening dates are still a ways ahead on the calendar but this turn for the colder is certainly a welcome sign.
