Report from February 6th, 2019
Squaw Valley ski resort in Lake Tahoe, CA was great yesterday.
Deep powder, good friends, lots of fresh snow.
Lots of terrain didn’t open yesterday and was covered in 77″ of fresh powder snow yesterday morning.
Unseasonably cold temps (highs in the low 20s) have kept the snow terrific.
Granite Chief was fantastic first thing in the morning.
After a few laps on Granite, we headed to Siberia and did the long traverse to Cornice II Bowl, which was crazy fun.
A few laps in Cornice II and down to KT-22.
KT is simply skiing spectacularly right now.
We threw a few backflips and called it a day at 2:30pm.
What a day!
