After one of the longest dry spells of the season, the skiing at Squaw finally returned to winteresque conditions for a few days.ย Things started off warm and wet, but transitioned to snow Wednesday night delivering around two feet of snow (and very lively and unstable mountains on Thursday).
High winds left us on the lower mountain for Friday, but the skiing off KT served up plenty of goods.ย While things were far from bottomless it was certainly deep in spots.ย Saturday we were given the upper mountain, an 8:30 opening, and ripping wind buff.ย Sunday things heated up but the snow was still holding out.
We’re currently back to sunny California conditions, but hopefully El Nino will return soon!ย Stay tuned!
