In an era where it seems many resorts face so many legal challenges in expanding or developing, it’s nice to see a new ski resort popping up and making a go of it.
Cherry Peak was planning to open last year. However, like many smaller ski areas they were unable to do so due to the lack of snow across the West.
CHERRY PEAK STATS:
- Vertical: 1,265
- Size: 203 Acres
- Runs: 29
- Lifts: 3 triple, 1 surface
Ski Cherry Peak will be open Monday-Saturday(closed Sundays) with day skiing from 9:00am-4:00pm and night skiing 5:00pm-9:00pm. The slopes will be closed 4:00pm-5:00pm for slope grooming. Night skiing will be offered every night!
“While our opening date remains TBD, crews are working hard to prepare for an announcement, and the news we are all anticipating. Please watch this website for further details as they become available. Thank you very much for your continued interest in Cherry Peak, and your patience with us as we prepare for a magnificent new resort to be enjoyed for years to come!”ย -Cherry Peak Ski Resort
Cherry Peak is located roughly 20 minutes out of Logan, Utah. Given that this area is not as heavily populated as the Salt Lake Area, it could be a great spot to score some fresh Utah powder this winter!
According to the Cherry Peak Facebook page they are currently looking for Patrollers, Instructors and other seasonal employees. If you’re looking to spend this winter working and playing in the mountains of Utah, consider working at this newly developing resort!
