For those of us who have decided to hang up our skis, put away our sleds, and pulled out the bike, it’s time to prepare your avalanche gear for a summer in storage too.

Remember to remove the batteries from your avalanche transceiver to prevent damage caused by battery leakage. Battery corrosion will void most manufacturer’s warranties and can destroy your battery port’s permanently.
