Stress, Snowfall, and the Inner Child

Eric Bryant |

This animated short film “Stress, Snowfall, and the Inner Child”ย byย Mike Biagiotti captures the essence of why many of us ski. ย When the daily grind becomes too daunting or when everything seems to be going awry skiing is always there to bring us peace within. ย Whether your escape is a remote backcountry line or a day at your home resort, getting up and out on the mountain will inevitably lighten your mood and raise your spirits.

Mike’s film was accepted into theย ย Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival 2013. ย If you like what you saw, go ahead and give him a vote on the Cold Smoke Co. websiteย (doing so will alsoย put your name in a drawing to win a two-day, two-person cat skiing trip to Powder Mountain in Whistler, BC and $1,000 cash!).

A bit about Mike:

Originally from Long Island,ย NY, I have lived in Southern California since I was 9 yrs old.ย  I grew up in the punk rock surf and skateboard culture of the 1980โ€™s.ย  This gave me a strong DIY mentality and a healthy suspicion of the main stream.ย  Suprisingly, I attended Pepperdineย University, which is a small Christian university inย Malibu.ย ย After graduating with a degree in advertising, I dedicated myself to artistic self-expression through music and visual art.ย
