Weekend conditions at Sun Valley Resort in Idaho are looking prime.
The mountain received a two-inch refresh of light, dry snow overnight, and today we’re looking at bluebird skies, plenty of sunshine, and top-notch conditions for ripping pristine groomer laps.
Temps will top out in the mid 20s today before we get another one or two inches of snow overnight, which should lead into a gorgeous, sunny weekend with daytime temps in the high teens to mid 20s.
Our brand-new Sunrise terrain expansion is open, and the north-facing aspects in this zone will be skiing well after tonight’s snowfall. Grab your friends and family, be sure to wear a face covering, and we hope to see you on the mountain this weekend.

Nice article but with the gondola not operating at the River Run base on Saturday morning it was a complete mess getting on the mountain, resulting in long lines most of the morning.
