Smugglers Notch Conditions Report – Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop After a windy, cold, and dry early January, snow started falling during the MLK holiday weekend. Since that initial foot, northern Vermont has been repeatedly blanketed by fast moving fronts generating up slope snow. The few large storms to hit New England this winter have been coastal, and deposited underwhelming amounts of snow in northern Vermont.
