Ode to Squaw’s Final Weekend: One Last Beer from the Keg

Many of us have been to parties consisting of a keg, a tall stack of red plastic cups and a couple bowls of potato chips. As the evening comes to an end, the hosts turn down the lights, make a few strategic yawns and subtly suggest that the last guests leave their house. Realizing their efforts are unsuccessful, the hosts give up and go to bed. At this point, there are usually a handful of guys, the “stragglers,” standing in the dark, right next to the keg, plastic red cups in their hand, pouring each other a final beer or two from the tap.
