VIDEO: Scary Footage of Boat being Caught in the Channel and Flipped at Mavericks Check out this video of an experienced sailor and crew getting caught in the channel at Mavericks. Pretty insane, and just a warning that this can happen to anybody however experienced and prepared you are. Thankfully captain and crew were all safely rescued.
