The Italian ski resort Passo dello Stelvio, located at 2,758m (9,049 ft) joined the increasingly long list of European summer ski resorts closing due to the current heat wave ravaging Europe. After a race training session on June 28th, three members of the Italian women’s ski team tested positive for COVID-19. The Italian Winter Sports Federation reported positive tests for one racer and two coaches.
