Tahpocalyse! After this lightning struck down and I realized I was still alive, I was really excited that it chose to compose itself perfectly in the frame.

This July will be remembered as the time that moisture happened in Tahoe…ย at least as far as the last fewย summers are concerned. The recent storms are a welcomed shift from the months of dry weather for many obvious reasons, but they also have the fun side effectsย of some really neat lightning shows and great sunsets. These photos are all from the last few weeks around Lake Tahoe.

A bit about me… Iโ€™m a photographer, web developer, designer, ski coach, and enjoyer of life.ย I’m fortunate enough to callย Lake Tahoe and the mountains my home. Itโ€™s a beautiful and humbling place, and there are always opportunities to explore and adventure. Like a lot of my friends and Tahoe neighbors, that’s one thing I try to do a lot of.ย As a photographer, I try to capture some of the moments that make this place awesome.ย Iโ€™m both happy and honored to be collaborating with SnowBrains to share my photos, adventures, and general stoke every fewย weeks.
