BOOM! Lake Tahoe Snowpack Goes from Almost Zero to 211% of Normal in Just One Week

Well, what a difference a week makes!

Last week we were complaining about the lack of snow and warm temperatures in the Sierra, resorts were pushing back opening days and the snowpack was pretty much zero.

To this week, following the intense storms and heavy snow that hit the mountains over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, the snowpack is now well above normal.

Another significant storm is forecast to bring another couple feet of snow this weekend too. Let it snow!
