Report from Nov.29 thru Dec.1, 2022
Winter is having a party in the Teton Mountains. In fact, we meant to post this earlier in the week but the program’s pretty much been, SKI, SLEEP (EAT, sometimes).
The storm cell that arrived a few days ago over Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Grand Targhee Resort has ago stuck around, and it’s been a straight stretch of some degree of fresh fall ever since, including a Winter Storm Warning through last night.
Reporting as of yesterday estimated around a half-foot of accumulation across the Tetons since Tuesday, yet it’s been skiing deeper than that.
One-to-two feet have been forecast for up-high.
The south-facing aspects of the Tetons have been RAD. Along with what’s been falling, the prevailing wind has pushed-in extra inches and given those areas a nice buff for good measure. It’s slightly chalky, super-rippable, and basically refreshes itself.
And the action overnight surely has us all thinking the same thing, so see you out there Friends.
