Teton County Search and Rescue Foundation, in partnership with the Bridger Teton Avalanche Center, is proud to present the 7th Annual Wyoming Snow and Avalanche Workshop (WYSAW) on October 22-23, 2021. The two-day symposium will be held at the Center for the Arts in downtown Jackson and virtually.
You can hear expert speakers and panel discussions take on topics of decision-making, risk management, and snow science. WYSAW is an ideal avenue for backcountry users of all abilities to progress their snow-safety knowledge as we move into avalanche season.
The theater will have limited seating for in-person viewing, but each presentation will be available on live stream. A vendor fair will take place on the lawn to the south of the Center, showcasing top winter products and services. Meanwhile, a huge raffle with fantastic prizes will help support TCSAR volunteers.
Letโs all do our part to ensure we donโt repeat the deadly 2020/21 winter. Attending WYSAW is an excellent start in that effort.
Register here to attend in person, or here for the (free) virtual stream.
