With equinox fast approaching, this will likely stay this way, although a cold front is forecast to hit the Alps next week.

Equal #6 Saas-Fee, Switzerland
Brand new in the top 7 and shooting straight to fifth place is Saas-Fee in Switzerland with 4.2 meters (14 feet). Saas-Fee is Zermatt’s little sister, just one valley up from Zermatt. Like its big sister, it offers fantastic snow conditions and also has a car-free village.

The resort faces the famous Mont Blanc and boasts 152 ski runs for beginners and experts alike, serviced by 64 modern ski lifts.

#3 Stubaier Glacier, Austria

#1 Alpe d’Huez, France
Still topping the list is Alpe d’Huez in France with 4.7 meters (15 feet), down 20 cm (8 inches) from last week. The highest peak in the Alpe d’Huez ski area in France is the Pic Blanc, reaching an altitude of 3,330 meters (10,925 feet). The ski run from Pic Blanc is the longest black run in Europe, called Sarenne, which is 16 kilometers (10 miles) long. Ski lifts at Alpe d’Huez will stay open until April 21, 2024.
