Heli-Skiing Alaska: Airs, Spines, & Wide-Open Powder in Valdez, Alaska

Report from April 15, 2025

On Tuesday, we got there early with Pulseline Adventure in Valdez, AK.

We knew the clouds were coming in later in the day.

We found good snow in a gorgeous zone off the Valdez Glacier right away.

We lapped it and laughed at the terrific snow.

Just before we left, we did โ€œGabeโ€™s Sneak Thru,โ€ which nearly doubled the vertical drop of the run.

We played around and popped off small airs and had fun.

In our second zone, we were able to push the angle a bit after finding better stability than expected.

We skied a few very steep rollovers and even found a mini spine to play with.

This place is a playground.

At about 4pm, clouds chased us out of the zone and back to the safety of town.

Thanks, Alaska!
