In 2018/19, we made 5 separate ski trips to Jackson Hole, WY for a total of 16 ski days.
Every trip was full of powder, big lines, and good friends.
Jackson Hole had a huge snow year recording 505″ of annual snowfall, a record-setting 193″ of snow in February, and record snow depths in the base in February and March.
“The 2018/2019 season finished with 505 inches of total snowfall, above average at all elevations with a record setting February snowfall of 193 inches in Rendezvous Bowl. The base area snow depths were at record levels from late February through the end of March. ” – Jackson Hole
It was a stellar year to be in Jackson Hole.
The lift-accessed backcountry at Jackson Hole was the best we’ve ever seen it and we heard many a local say it was one of the best seasons in memory.
Jackson Hole is simply epic and we cannot wait to get back there a bunch more in 2019/20.
Special thanks to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Richard Grove, and Owen Leeper for hosting us and showing us around.
