This video shows a gorgeous avalanche launching off a cliff across the street from Alta, UT today.

Alta has reported 8″ of new snow in the past 12-hours.

Oh, and Alta has already gotten 404″ of snowfall this season…

UDOT has closed the backcountry skiing zones on the LCC Full North Side from 10pm 2/16 to 8am 2/17.
