Avalanche
On Friday, December 29th, 2017 a skier triggered an avalanche in Truman Gulch, MT and took a 1200 foot ride down the mountain. As a result, the skier suffered serious injuries, but he is doing alright. This video shows an analysis of the snowpack that lead to the avalanche occurring. A good reminder to be aware of the conditions that you’re skiing or riding in.
