Below are highlights, but check out the video for a full and detailed forecast.

Alta, located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, has reported 3-4 inches of new snow, with an additional 2-3 inches possible throughout the day. The snow is part of a front moving across the Wasatch Range and is expected to reach Colorado by the afternoon.

Arapaho Basin can anticipate 2-4 inches of snow from the incoming front, which will bring a quick shot of moisture before dry conditions return.

Key Dates for Snow

  • Today: Moderate snow is expected in the Wasatch and Tetons.
  • 11/14 – 11/21: A series of storm systems will bring heavier accumulations, particularly in Colorado and the Pacific Northwest. Forecasts suggest 6-10 inches in the Wasatch and potentially 8-12 inches across Southern Colorado.

Storm Systems

A significant low-pressure system is anticipated to develop around November 18, bringing tropical moisture into the Four Corners region (Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah). This could lead to substantial snowfall across various ski areas.

Heavy Snow Potential

Interior British Columbia is also expected to see considerable snowfall during this period, with forecasts indicating up to two feet in higher elevations.

Be aware of gusty winds today, potentially reaching up to 50 mph, which could affect visibility and conditions on the slopes.
