Western U.S. Storm Activity
A powerful storm system is sweeping across the West. Snowfall is hitting California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Utah, with additional storms expected to bring heavy snow to regions like the Tetons, Wasatch, Colorado, and interior British Columbia over the next eight days.
Northeast Weather
Rain dominates the Northeast after recent ice accumulation. While most precipitation will be rain, some snow may fall in northern Maine and higher elevations like Mount Washington and Sugarloaf.
Snowfall Forecast Highlights
Big totals for ski destinations! Over the next week, forecasts predict 1-2 feet of snow for Wasatch, up to 20 inches in Colorado, 8-14 inches in Montana, and significant snowfall in California and southern Utah. Interior BC resorts like Revelstoke and Kicking Horse may see 8-10 inches.
Active Weather Pattern
The West remains stormy through midweek. A strong trough of low pressure is driving multiple waves of energy across the region. Expect heavy snow accumulation before conditions quiet down later in April.
