On Saturday, the sun came out in Alaska after a storm dropped 4-feet of snow the previous 4 days in Valdez, Alaska.
I flew with Black Ops Valdez Heli.
My guide was the legendary 25-year Chugach heli ski veteran, Jerry Hance.
The day featured great snow, steep terrain, and no wind.
We skied 12 runs and dropped around 40,000-vertical-feet.
Jerry lead us into some of the most playful terrain I’ve skied anywhere.
This day was certainly one of the top 10 ski days of my 17-years of full-time skiing.
People often ask me where the best skiing on Earth is.
It’s in Alaska.
This was my 10th ski trip to Alaska.ย ย
It won’t be my last.
