What if you combined Slalom Skiing with Slopestyle? The result is the incredible project by Austrian Slalom skier David Meier dubbed “Flip the Gates.”
In the insane video, the Head athlete weaves through the slalom course which is set on a course that seems to be a mix of a ski-cross course and a Slopestyle line. Meier masters the Slalom course before double-flipping over snow groomers and huts. Make sure you wait for the POV headcam shots, which are adrenaline-pumping to watch.
The video was shot last April in Montafon, Austria, and took 30-35 people to shape the course and film. Meier is also known for his crazy MTB videos.
