Killington Resort, VT made snow this morning. They flipped the switch on early and were still going strong well into the morning. Temperatures dropped and the resort took full advantage in an attempt to start their snow base for the upcoming season.
The 7 day forecast is calling for some below freezing temperatures at an elevation of 787ft, which is well below the base of the mountain. They should be able to make snow the next couple of nights and then again this weekend.
