Light snow has begun in Colorado, but the heaviest snowfall is anticipated over the next few days, particularly in Southwest Colorado. Wolf Creek is projected to receive substantial snow, with up to a foot expected.

Snow will taper off by midday in Utah, with potential clearing in the afternoon. Tomorrow, expect sunny conditions. Accumulations of 5-6 inches above 9,000 feet are possible today.
The best snow will arrive today and continue through the weekend in Colorado, especially in the San Juan Mountains. Areas like Taos and Angel Fire could see 5-8 inches.
Future Outlook
After this storm system moves through, conditions will shift northward, favoring British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest for future storms. Minor fronts will affect the Intermountain West but are not expected to bring significant snowfall.
