Wind Event
A significant wind event is forecast for Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and parts of Montana between October 4-5:
- Grand Teton: Possible 100 mph wind gusts
- Long’s Peak: Gusts up to 90 mph
- Kings Peak: 60 mph winds expected
Precipitation Outlook
- The lower 48 states are experiencing dry conditions.
- British Columbia continues to receive the bulk of precipitation.
- A potential system around October 10-11 may bring some precipitation to the Northern Tier and parts of Idaho, northern Utah, Wyoming, and Northern Colorado.
