Frenchman Valentin Delluc slides an out-of-use chairlift cable while ski-gliding down the mountain. The 22-year old speed rider has been skiing his whole life, and started paragliding at age 11. It was only a matter of time before the two came together…

WARNING: This slide into speed riding is very complicated and dangerous to carry !!! It really does not try to replicate this kind of thing . Only after thousands and thousands of hours of practice I could envisage making this slide. Dismantling [the chairlift] is scheduled in a month, I did not cause any damage.
So maybe ski gliding and cable sliding isn’t for everyone – but damn, this guy is unreal.
Impressive, but its not a cable , it’s a haul rope.
