The BC-based, family-owned company will provide helicopter access to 432,000 acres of terrain
Whistler, BC – December 5, 2024—Whistler Heli-Skiing has announced a new partnership with Wildcat Helicopters ahead of December 7, its planned start date for the 2024-25 season. The new partnership allows Whistler Heli-Skiing, the longtime heli-ski provider, to continue delivering guests to over 432,000 acres of terrain across 173 glaciers and 475 runs—a tenure 50 times the size of Whistler Blackcomb.

Whistler Heli-Skiing started its 44th year of operations on December 7. In addition to being the original provider of world-class heli-ski experiences in the area, Whistler Heli-Skiing offers Dawn Patrol, which is available to guests of Whistler Heli-Skiing when weather challenges prevent flights from happening. Dawn Patrol is a First Tracks Experience made possible by the unique proximity of the heli-ski operation to Whistler Blackcomb. When unable to fly, guests meet their guide and load ahead of the regular opening, being the first to access the mountains for the day. The group is led by Whistler Heli-Skiing’s experienced guides, who ski and ride runs before anyone else.
