March is only a few days away, so spring will be here before we know it. While some people look forward to warmer temperatures and longer days, skiers and snowboarders might have different feelings about spring. Itโs a cold reminder that the ski season is coming to an end for ski resorts in the mid-Atlantic and southeast regions. However, donโt tell Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia that. The resort has 100% snowmaking capabilities on the mountain and plans to keep winter activities going strong on the mountain into March.
The resort is located off Interstate 77 near Berkley and is home to the stateโs largest snow tubing park. Encompassing 90 skiable acres, Winterplace is keeping the winter fun rolling with plenty of slopeside fun, family-friendly festivals, and ski deals through mid-March. The resort is known for being the perfect place for beginners and families to learn to ski.
โWith Mother Natureโs recent snowfall adding to our 100% Snowmaking capacity, we are looking forward to ensuring skiers have a top-to-bottom quality mountain experience all winter long. We invite families to join us on the slopes and make some lasting memories. Winter is in full throttle at Winterplace,โ Josh Faber, General Manager of Winterplace, said in a press release.
