According to the Washoe County, NV Sheriff’s Office, 2 North Lake Tahoe bartenders were arrested this February for allegedly selling cocaine to their customers.
The two bartenders were allegedly selling cocaine whileย working at Rookies Sports Bar & Grill and Village Pub, both in Incline Village, NV.
โThis whole issue โฆ started with the discussion of drugs being in Incline Village โฆ and I wanted our undercover officers to get a pulse on what people are saying and whatโs going on up here. ย I want people to know that the sheriffโs office is doing everything they can to reduce the impact of drugs on the streets.โ – Lt. Jeff Clarkย told the Sierra Sun
Officers performed multiple undercover operations to acquire evidence and arrest the suspects. ย The Washoe County Sheriff’s Department reports that various undercover operations took place between January 28th and February 4th. ย These operations were targeted at local bars in Incline Village who were suspected of selling drugs to customers.
The cops found 9.2 grams of cocaine in Juan Pablo Lepe’s car. ย Juan is a bartender at Rookies Sports Bar & Grill in Incline Village, NV. ย Juan was arrested on “โmultiple drug-related charges as a result of the investigation,” according to a Washoe Country Sheriff’s Office statement today.
Nicolas Webber, bartender at Village Pub, was arrested on February 19th โon multiple drug-related charges,โaccording to a Washoe Country Sheriff’s Office statement today.
Both men have posted bail and are currently out of jail.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office reports that neither bar will face fines nor criminal charges.
