BREAKING: Wolf Creek, CO Will OPEN Tomorrow

Hm….  This is kinda weird…  We just noticed that Wolf Creek ski area in Colorado has announced that they will be open on their website today, but not anywhere else…

We guess they want to keep it a small opening?  Smart.

Wolf Creek will join Loveland CO & Arapahoe Basin CO as the only ski resorts open in North America this weekend.

Wolf Creek gets some of the most snow in Colorado and they just 6″ of new snow the past couple of days bringing their base to 8″ of natural snow.

Wolf Creek will be open from 9am-4pm on Sunday and Monday this week with the Nova Lift open accessing the Nova & Susan’s runs open.  It sounds like they’ll be shutting down again during the week, but they didn’t make that clear just yet.

WOLF CREEK “PRESS RELEASE” TODAY:

Wolf Creek received 6 inches of new snow, leaving a settled all natural snow depth of 8 inches! Wolf Creek will be open for skiing and snowboarding Saturday October 31st and Sunday November 1st with the Nova Lift operating from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The Nova and Susan‘s run will be open and lift tickets are only $20! The Ski School will be available for lessons including the Wolf Pup Program. The Treasure Sports Shop will be open and ski and snowboard rentals will be available. Make it a great day and grab lunch at the Upper Lodge for burgers, brats and hotdogs.
