Remember that pre-Thanksgiving storm in 2014 that dumped 7-feet of snow in Buffalo, New York? ย Yeah, that snow is still there according to WGRZ-TV.

They’re reporting that there are still two snow piles from that monster storm that are around 10-feet high in spots that live in vacant lots at the Central Terminal on the east side of the city.

That pile of snow is like a glacier,โ€ adding โ€œItโ€™s very dense and itโ€™s covered in dirt and garbage, which acts to insulate the snow from the sunโ€™s rays. Thatโ€™s what melts the snow, not just the heat but the sunโ€™s rays, and itโ€™s protected.โ€ –ย meteorologist Patrick Hammer

This snow has been around for 8 months! ย Wow.

The two piles that are left look like dirt as a result of all the snow that has melted and released it’s dirty contents in the pile.

Boston’s own snow piles made it into Julyย this year. ย A crazy year for East Coast snow…
