As we reported last night, Tahoe has received it’s first snow of the year! The Tahoe Basin received 2-5″ of snow yesterday afternoon/evening and we awoke this morning to blue skies and white blanketed mountain tops. There was even enough snow to cause chain chain control and a resulting traffic hold up on Highway 80.
And we’re not done yet, there’s a chance of more snow in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. While these early season snow showers aren’t quite pumping enough snow for some snow slidin’, it is a sign of things to come. Hold tight folks, winter is a brewin’!

With snow starting to fly across the board, from snow in Utah to snow in Montana and Wyoming as well as here in Tahoe the winter time stoke is starting to escalate at alarming rates.
