Stevens Pass ski resort in Washington state just enjoyed its 2nd snowiest February in 50 years.
All that snow brought high avalanche danger and the need for extensive avalanche control work.
This video shows us a large avalanche triggered by an avalanche bomb at Stevens Pass. The avalanche comes down bringing direct hell to all in its path.
As the avalanche comes down it simply mows down trees. So many trees go down that you feel kinda bad for ’em.

how does this location compare to Tunnel Ck. where the large group was in an avalanche a few years ago?
