“Bare spots are likely and walking may even be required by the afternoon.” – Killington today
Killington, VT is open again this weekend after being open last weekend then closing during the week.
They’re open today, but it’s raining with a high of 51ยบF.ย Conditions are pretty funky so Killington isn’t selling day tickets and only accepting season pass and express card holders only today.
The K-1 Express Gondola and the North Ridge Triple will be open today accessing 2 groomed trails, Rime & Reason.
KILLINGTON MOUNTAIN REPORT:
8:00 am 10/25/15–
Today Killington will be open for Season Pass and Express Card holders only. Continued warm weather and possible rain showers will further diminish conditions, so no day tickets will be available. Season Pass and Express Card holders will find 2 groomed trails, Rime and Reason, and our parks crew will do everything they can to have several park features in the Reason Park. Bare spots are likely and walking may even be required by the afternoon. Please note that available terrain is for expert skiers and riders only. Early season conditions exist, ski and ride with care.
Following last chair on Sunday afternoon, Killington will shut down for skiing and riding until cooler weather returns. We hope that lower temperatures will arrive in the very near future so we can get back to business as usual. Please check back here at the Daily Report or follow us @killingtonmtn on twitter for real-time updates on conditions and operations.
Access to open terrain will be via the K-1 Express Gondola, which will upload from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and the North Ridge Triple which will operate from 8:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m. A short walk on our scenic Peak Walkway is required to get to and from the open terrain.
