12-16 More inches of snow are Forecast for Kirkwood today…
Last night, Kirkwood ski resort said if they got 12″ of snow, they could get open early this season.ย This morning, there’s 14-18″ of new snow at Kirkwood…ย If what they said rings true, Kirkwood will most likely open up early this weekend (we’re guessing Friday).
Kirkwood has been dropping frequent hints about their pontential early opening.

In the video below, Coop (Mr. Kirkwood) says that Heavenly and Northstar may open this weekend as well:

So, there you have it.ย We’re confident that Kirkwood will open this weekend with great early season and there is even a chance that Northstar and Heavenly will open this weekend as well.ย We’ll most certainly let you know as soon as Kirkwood announces it’s opening day this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
Kirkwood’s scheduled opening date is November 22nd.ย
