It has begun snowing in Lake Tahoe today. Accumulations aren’t astonishing yet, but just seeing snow in Tahoe is a very good thing. Forecasts are still calling for up to 12” of snow above 8,000 between now and Thursday. We’ll just have to wait.
In the meantime, lets have a look at Tahoe with snow:
TAHOE SNOW REPORTS TODAY:
Sugar Bowl = 2-4″ at 7:30am
Squaw Valley = 1″ at 9am
Alpine Meadows = 1″ at 9am
No chains yet as of 11pm except rt 88 near Kirkwood
