Conditions Report
Las Lenas ski resort in Argentina just got a decent storm and things are looking good in the wind is the curse of Las Lenas. Big snow drops, then it gets clear, and the wind blows the new snow away and keeps the Marte chair (only access to upper mountain) closed.
We haven’t gotten reports from Las Lenas about Marte today. From these photos, we’d guess that it was closed.
How much snow fell? Who knows because Las Lenas doesn’t report their totals anywhere. But they are reporting their base snow depths:
29 inches at the summit
24 inches at mid mountain
17 inches at the base
Not much snow on the ground just yet, but it’s early. The one photo at the top of the one deep track looks pretty damn good!
