Loveland ski area in Colorado is doing everything it can to open up as soon as possible.
Arapahoe Basin, CO opened last Friday and Timberline Lodge, OR has been open the past two weekends.
Below is Loveland’s latest update on how snowmaking is coming along.
“Friday night we made snow but conditions were not the greatest. Saturday & Sunday we had excellent conditions for snowmaking. All the snowguns are focused on the bottom of the mountain. The snowmaking team is putting the final touches on Home Run and the bottom of Lift 1. Our COO is meeting with with our snowmakers, Trail Maintenance and Ski Patrol to see if we can nail down a opening date. Stay tuned for opening day news!” – Loveland ski area, CO today
