Mammoth Mountain, CA, who were due to stay open through May 28th, have just announced they will be staying open a further 3 weeks, until June 17th. AT LEAST!
This just in – Mammoth will be open daily for skiing and riding until AT LEAST June 17. With the best spring skiing and riding in the country, it’s the perfect time to get those late season turns in, especially with Tioga Pass opening on Monday, May 21 for even easier access to the Eastside.
This just in! Mammoth will be open daily for skiing and riding until at LEAST June 17. Top-to-bottom conditions are killer and there's still a ton of time to get up here and get those late season turns in. Photo taken yesterday 5.17. pic.twitter.com/yrpUoW1r7j

Other than Timberline Lodge, OR who offer all year round skiing, this currently gives Mammoth the latest closing day in North America.
So, it’s not quite time to put those skis and boots away yet, summer shredding is coming! Mammoth Mountain currently has an upper mountain base of 85″, and has a season snowfall of 481″.
Last year they stayed open right up until August, so let’s hope that the same will happen again this year!
