Idaho looks like it’ll be the big winner out of this week’s snowfall in the Western US and Canada.ย Up to 6″ of snow is forecast above 7,500-feet in the mountains of Idaho today and tomorrow.
Bring it on!
NOAA:
“A series of upper disturbances will keep wet weather in the forecast at least through tomorrow night. Todayโs heaviest rainfall will target the Eastern Highlands as a cold front slowly pushes through the state. Isolated thunderstorms may develop along the cold front. A second round of showers will begin tomorrow ahead of another upper disturbance. Snow levels will drop to around 7500 to 8000 ft this evening, which will mean snow for the higher peaks. Overall, the Central Mountains still look to get about 3โ to 6โ while the Southeast Idaho mountain peaks may get about 1โ to 3โ of snow.” – NOAA Pocatello, Idaho
