Yes folks, a ski resort in South America is already up and running and it’s open top to bottom.

This is crazy because 3 ski resorts are still open daily in North America right now.  You could literally not miss a single day of skiing this year.  You could ski at Mammoth, Arapahoe Basin, or Timberline Lodge today, hop on a flight to Santiago, Chile tonight, and ski El Colorado tomorrow.  Unreal…

El Colorado ski resort just outside of Santiago, Chile opened for the season on June 1st with one chairlift and one rope-tow.

El Colorado opened due to a snowstorm that dumped enough snow to provide solid coverage over Memorial Day weekend.

43″ of snow are forecast to fall on El Colorado today.

It’s game on already in Chile.

Most ski resorts in Chile and Argentina are scheduled to open around June 20th.
