Brighton? They build a shopping mall this summer to make the list?
What bozo’s come up with these lists for gapers?
It’s Ski Magazines list, hence it is aimed at groomer rippers and generally wealthier people, Whis and Squaw kinda get hosed in the rankings
Complete crock…the list is out of order in all kinds of ways. Deer Valley at #2? Winter Park above everything in CA? Mammoth above everything at Tahoe? Heavenly above Squaw? Not to mention that Northstar even makes the list, which is totally bogus…(i.e. because Northstar is flat and lame).
Mammoth above everything at Tahoe? Absolutely!
Mammoth Main Lodge parking lot elevation–8900 feet. Top of the Palisades? 8900 feet elevation. Mammoth, no mid-winter rain events here. How many did Squaw have last year? Gotta love Mammoth’s open ski area boundary policy. What is Squaw’s? Mammoth is open to Memorial Day EVERY YEAR. Ask Miles where he was that weekend.
Mammoth…kind of like Squaw, but without the attitude.
Spend a winter on the East Side…then tell me which is better.
best for us that Squaw doesn’t show up. fine with me. dumb rankings… not focused on the skiing, except for JH, which has the issue of the tram being jammed.
Heck yeah! Snowbrains top ten list! Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!
