Beartooth Pass will remain closed until further notice.

OR IMPOSSIBLE IN THE HIGH COUNTRY. BEARTOOTH PASS WILL BE
IMPACTED BY ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL.

Beartooth Pass has been closed fiveย times in the past 40 daysย and we’re only 11 days into Fall 2016!
Snow is forecast all over North America this week including California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.
Montana is currently under a Winter Storm Warning – the first of the 2016/17 winter season – with 10-15″ of snow forecast.
There is a summer only ski resort up on Beartooth Pass (Beartooth Basin)ย that hasnโt been able to get open due to a lack of snow the past 2 summers.
