SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. โ November 28, 2019 โย Thanks to recent snowfall and with the Thanksgiving holiday in mind, Sierra-at-Tahoe will be running lifts a day early, on Friday, November 29, 2019, from 12-4PM for a pre-Opening Day event.
Lift tickets will be available for purchase at ticket windows for just $10, with half of all proceeds to be donated to the Food Bank of El Dorado County. Operations will be limited, with Easy Rider Express and Rock Garden scheduled to spin, conditions permitting.
โSierra will be joining REI and Subaru in the #OptOutside movement this Friday, offering affordable skiing and riding for a good cause, to kick off the season with gratitude and snow,โ stated Marketing and Sales Director, Katie Hunter. โThis will be a pre-Opening Day event, so operations will be limited, but we aim to provide guests with an opportunity to get outside with us and embrace the winter spirit.โ
Season Passes will be valid for Fridayโs activities, and guests can take advantage of Sierraโs Ski and Ride School through Private Lessons and Day Care.
Sierra will still be hosting its full Opening Day event on Saturday, November 30, offering a fun-filled day for the whole family.
